- Vern Sanders
- Vernon Sanders has been a rock musician, college professor, jazz pianist, non-profit arts foundation administrator, author, and music publisher. He was for many years Director of Choral Activities at the University of Regina, Canada, and was Director of Music Ministries at Trinity Presbyterian Church in San Carlos, California, for 16 years before "retiring" to devote more time to his family and his position as publisher of Creator Magazine for worship leaders and church musicians. He has degrees in music education and musicology from UCLA, and a DMA in conducting from Stanford. He was the founding president of the Saskatchewan Choral Federation, and the founding Charter Member of the Association of Canadian Choral Communities. His published musical works appear in 6 different catalogs. He is a frequent clinician throughout North America. He served on the staff and board of the Schuyler Institute for Arts in Worship and the National Association of Church Musicians. He "unretired" in October, 2005, to answer a "missionary" call to develop worship ministry in small churches. He currently serves as Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church in Templeton, California.
